Fortune cookies, keyrings and wise words of advice were freely distributed on our open green spaces in August. One warm Friday evening, a happy multi-agency crew of Cambac, Police, City Rangers and the Council CHYPPS team patrolled Parkers Piece, Christs Piece, Millpond and Jesus Green to warn people to keep their belongings near them and not to be distracted by pickpockets. This was in direct response to a rise in theft on open spaces in the Summer and Cambac were keen to spread the word to keep our city safe for residents and visitors alike.

Many thanks to PC Carole Langton, who once again, took up the gauntlet with Vicky to promote Community Safety messages to the public.
