The annual Cambac award for ‘Most Outstanding Detections’ was won by TK Maxx at the Beehive. They received a certificate from Cambs Constabulary, signed by Superintendant Mike Brown and were presented with the Cambac shield, which they get to keep for a year. Last year’s winners, M&S Sidney Street, kindly donated a gift card as a prize for their hard work, especially while the Police Retail Crime Squad was in operation. Jo Neal, TK Maxx Store Manager, said ‘What a fantastic award to receive! Thank you to our loss prevention team in TK Maxx and the support from external security radio users, CAMBAC and Cambridgeshire Police.
Paul Kobzik, TK Maxx Loss Prevention, added, ‘It is great to receive this award for the best detection rate of shoplifters in Cambridge, as a team, we have put every effort into detecting and stopping offenders within the store but without the superb support of other CAMBAC members and Cambridgeshire Constabulary we wouldn’t have be able to achieve this goal, Therefore we would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to them all.’
PC Hinks and Vicky from Cambac present the award to Amie Parr and Asifa Naveed, members of Cambridge TK Maxx management team.
