MANAGE CAMBAC RADIOS
Nearly 200 businesses in Cambridge benefit from having our radios to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour.
Cambac radios are linked to Police and CCTV and cost just £1 a day.
MONITOR DISC DATABASE
Cambac members have FREE access to DISC (Database and Intranet for Safer Communities) to report crime and receive messages from the Police.
This is a national database enabling us to also track travelling criminals.
EXCLUSION NOTICE SCHEME
We encourage all businesses to report incidents to Cambac so we can issue Exclusion Notices (Civil Banning Orders) on persistent offenders.
DISTRIBUTE PHOTOS OF KNOWN OFFENDERS
Members receive quarterly updates of Police photographs of offenders served with Cambac Exclusion Notices. (See DISC)

BUSINESS AGAINST CRIME PARTNERSHIPS
Cambac has strong links with HBAC (Huntingdon, St Ives, St Neots) and similar business crime reduction partnerships in East Anglia to share information and intelligence. Cambac sit on the Cambridge Pubwatch Committee and attend the Cambridge Community Safety meetings to keep business crime firmly on the radar.
