About

Cambridge Business Against Crime (CAMBAC) is an independent, non-profit Business Crime Reduction Partnership (BCRP).

Set up in 2007, CAMBAC works in partnership with key partners such as Cambridgeshire Police, Cambridge BID, Cambridge City Council and Cambridgeshire County Council and is part of the Cambridge Community Safety Partnership.

CAMBAC works on behalf of the business community, both the day-time and night-time economy in and around Cambridge, to reduce the impact of business related crime and prevent crime and disorder in the city.

CAMBAC is a proud member of the National Association of Business Crime Partnerships (NABCP)

Cambac members have FREE access to the SentrySIS system to report crime and liaise with the Police

Free Training Sessions

Free training is available throughout the year including Managing Conflict, Breakaway Training, Counter-Terrorism, Drugs Awareness and other relevant topics to your business

Helpdesk

All members can access our Helpdesk with a 24 hour turn around

Exclusion Notice Scheme

We encourage all businesses to report incidents to Cambac so we can issue Exclusion Notices (Civil Banning Orders) on persistent offenders

Police Liaison

Providing local and regional police liaison, linking directing into police strategic priorities

Known Offenders

Members receive quarterly updates of Police photographs of offenders served with Cambac Exclusion Notices.
